  • CommentaryThe ›Desta Chair‹ (model ST15) designed by Hans Luckhardt, Berlin (1931) was originally used as seating for the ballroom. The three-part wall lamps are by Eckart Muthesius and were produced by Max Krüger, Berlin. The original air conditioning system, one of the first of its kind in India and now defunct, was manufactured by Carl Wiessner, Görlitz and fitted by Heinz Riefenstahl, brother of the film maker Leni Riefenstahl.
