If you were heading for Spain, then the best way to travel was with the Southern Express, with which you could reach all the important places from Paris starting in 1887. Via Madrid and Lisbon, it was also possible to travel further on to Tunis or Morocco.

    The poster shows views of cities, in the foreground, however, you find local clothing and folklore. Colourful and exotic, this was the mixture to create a desire to travel.
